Coinciding with the presentation of the 6th edition of Spanish Arab Magazine, in its special edition, Qatar, the 6th edition of the Spanish Arab Magazine awards was held at the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid, organized by the Art & Culture Without Borders chaired by Soumaya Akbib and Her Royal Highness, Princess Béatrice d'Orléans, honorary president, with the participation of the Ambassador of Qatar in Spain, Abdalla Al-Hamar. The guests began the evening with a tour of the rooms of the Academy museum, which houses one of the most complete collections of Goya's works and is one of the best art collections in Spain, offering a complete journey through the history of art from the Renaissance to the 21st century.

Don Francisco de Borbón, Duke of Seville, among other distinguished members of the aristocracy such as the Marquis of Paul, the Marquis of Balbueno, the Marquises of La Floresta and the Countess of Saltes, Daniel San Martin Viscasillas, Cristina Thomas de Carranza. High diplomacy as the Hon. Mr. Malek Twal the ambassador of the Arab League, the ambassador of Jordan, Hon. Ms. Areej Hawamdeh, the Ambassador of Oman, Hon. Mr. Salih Husain Ali Ali, among others and world-famous figures such as the dancer Joaquín Cortés, Maryam Al Nasr ODA & Partnerships Manager at Education Above All, the influencer María León among 160 guests, gathered at this celebration of the cultural and human wealth of Qatar and Spain. The event presented by Anne Igartiburu included a toast by the famous soprano Pilar Jurado and other artistic expressions showing the rich Qatari culture with dresses from the SH Collection, a jewelry show by the jeweler Hamad Al-Mohammad, who also attended the dinner, with dresses by Javier Quintela and a experience of Qatari perfumes from the firm Zawaya. At the end of the dinner it was possible to enjoy the coffee from Wolstton Coffee. Iberdrola, which carries out great social and humanitarian work, was a sponsor of the event.
The award-winning figures this year, standing out for excellence in their respective professional fields and their social commitment, are: the Education Above All Foundation, the Reina Sofía Foundation, the artist Antonio López, a member of the Academy, the neuroscientist and researcher Marta Navarrete, the Director of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando the Hon. Mr. D. Tomás Marco Aragón and the international firm of architects Fenwick Iribarren Architects.
The event concluded with a charity auction, led by the former president of Sotheby's Spain for 20 years, Flavia de Hohenlohe-Langenburg, in favor of educational projects from the Education Above All and Art and Culture Without Borders foundations.
